AtTheMatch member British Sports Museum raise £1,649 for Heart4More Foundation through silent auction
AtTheMatch member British Sports Museum were invited as a guest by health and empowerment charity Heart4More Foundation for their Gala Dinner at the Westbury Hotel and helped raise £1,649 of funds through a silent auction.
Gary Taylor, Director of the British Sports Museum, was one of 160 guests who attended to help raise funds for the purchase of equipment that will contribute towards the successful implementation of the National Screening Programme to provide screening opportunities to the general community and saving the lives of those who are unknowingly at risk of sudden cardiac death.
Arsenal trio Hector Bellerin, Nacho Monreal and Santi Cazorla showed their support to the Foundation, whose story evolved after former Millwall player Tobi Alabi suffered a cardiac arrest whilst playing for Metropolitan Police in October 2013.
Items on the night that were sold were a Vinnie Jones hand signed Lock, Stock & Two smoking barrels photograph; Cristiano Ronaldo hand signed & Framed Real Madrid Shirt; Three Course Sunday Lunch Jazz Cruise for Two; Three Course Meal and Cocktail for Two Marco Pierre White Restaurant; Robert Pires hand signed 16x12” Photograph; Mike Tyson & Evander Holyfield hand signed Gold Cleyto Reyes Boxing Glove; Teddy Sheringham hand signed Manchester United European Cup Final Photograph; Vineyard Tour and Tasting with Lunch for Two in Cambridgeshire; Paul Scholes hand signed Manchester United football boot; Highgrove Garden Champagne Tea Tour for two Saturday 6th August; Lords Long Room Lunch with Alastair Cook MBE, David Gower OBE, and Peter Siddle. 30th June 2016; England Cricket Shirt hand signed by the 2013 ODI Squad; Ryan Giggs hand signed Manchester United photograph; Arsenal 1971 Double Winners hand signed photograph; Arsenal 1971 Double Winners hand signed photograph; Diego Maradona hand signed football boot presentation and Ferrari 458 vs Porsche Driving Experience at Thruxton.

“An intimate setting of over 150 guests allowed the silent auction to work well and enabled us to raise £1,649 for the Foundation.”
